The most notable sights of Chalkidiki are:
- Petralona cave, where there were discovered human bones, 700.000 years old.
- The Byzantine tower in Nea Fokea

- Mount Athos, with unique and historical monasteries, in the third peninsula of Chalkidiki, in Athos. According to Greek mythology (Homer and Aeschylus), the peninsula was created by a huge rock that giant Athos threw to Poseidon. The development of monasticism in Mount Athos, began before 9th century in 1971, was officially declared as a place where women cannot enter in, by the emperors Nikiforos Fokas and Ioanni Tsimiski. The” garden of Virgin Mary ” is the stronghold of Orthodoxy and is visited by thousand of whisperers every year.

Thessaloniki what to do::
Go around the city with thousand stories and big heart open to everyone and visit the most important monuments, are;
- St. Dimitris church with underground depths and the body of Saint Dimitris, the patron saint and protector of the city. First built over a Roman bath in which the saint was martyred in 303.
According to tradition, the spot where the saint martyred started spouting myrrh. The church was destroyed in a fire in 1917. It was finally restored and delivered to the faithful on October 29th of 1949, the feast day of Saint.
- The white tower , a point of reference, by the beach of Thessaloniki, which was built to be used for the defense of the city, joining the east and north walls. It was also used as a prison. These days it operates as a museum with a variety of statues, Byzantine objects and other exhibits.
